Are you an upcoming senior who is thinking about serving in the military after high school? Here’s what you can work on this summer:
- Check in with your high school counselor or local recruiter about whether your academic progress meets the needs of the military careers that you are interested in pursuing.
- Go over your progress toward applying to a military academy.
- Take a fitness class or track your exercise program to improve your ability to handle the physical side of a military career — you’ll want to pass the intake physical! Check out summer fitness programs at your local YMCA or YWCA.
